My Life As A Noir Movie

I've been here before, in different forms.
A whole new life here. A new perspective but I still keep growing
to something or someone I don't understand.
It calmer than usual, it's darker.

The streetlights and lampost's haloing
in the faufloresent mist.
The click of my boots
on cold concrete.

I can feel the streets vibrate, the shaking
up my leg. Tugging me further down a lot, a street, avenued
into a new part of town

and again, I've been there before.

A stairwell rising up from a once-upon-a-time era
of trains and countrysides. I went down slippery steep
stairs into a sealed off tunnel. What's in it?

Water, sir, water. The water comes up to your knees and you
don't know what be down there. Whatever it is, these stair's saint
ain't no goddamn good anymore.

...be scared sir, you can't see under the water
and
the water has stuff you don't wanna know 'bout.

Henri, I know this?
You sho', sa'?

Yes

And I did step into the waters. Which didn't move from my weight
but pooled and cooled into shoes of steam.

Beware, sa'! he said to no affect. I was beyond him
I didn't know,

per se

what had happened. I knew somewhere in history
life forms spawned and reproduced until I came to be,
and I knew somewhere men had walked on some kind of satallite,

but in this particular context, I would definitly say I didn't know what had happened.

I walked upon an underground collecting point for run off from Lincoln.
I know that I had these...shoes appear when I stepped on it, but most miportantly, I knew the shoes were mine.

Now everything had gold on it. Gold cover in charcoa---

Sa', I's back sa'. You ain't a supposed ta be hir.
This is a bad place, and we both knows it.

I would say it's worth the risk.
I would say you's full of shit.

Where is it, that bouncing ball of beef called my brain?
He could answer you Henri.

You's can't?
No. Sa'.

Where be he?
He be in me, you see and after one two or three martinis it becomes tiny.

Can it be in me please
No henri, it is not possibnle to
Sa' I can't hear ya sa'.

And I was back in the tunnel.
